I learnt how to make a rocket stove at Climate Camp this year - it’s very satisfying, and easy too. 

You can pick up big empty catering oil cans from fish and chip shops and Indian or Chinese restaurants. And you don’t need to buy stove pipe, you can use medium sized tin cans slotted together to make the elbow shaped chimney.

Tea made from water boiled on a rocket stove is a taste of heaven.
