You’ve probably come across the idea of recycling tights as stuffing for cushions or soft toys but here are some more ideas…

One of the principles of ‘permaculture’ I’m enjoying trying to apply in life is to find as many re-uses or cycles of use for things around us. Logical really.

I was looking for socks on the web recently and came across a site with ideas for using old tights in the garden and in the house. Making a growbag from a leg of an old pair of tights seems like something worth trying for a windowsill.

Suggested Task: Extended Use

Whether or not it’s a pair of tights, find an extra use for something you’d otherwise dispose of.
