Inner transformation is at the heart of the challenges faced by human beings today. And contemplation may be an important part of the journey towards inner change. Today we make available a series of practical and contemplative resources designed especially for our ‘Re-imagining Harvest’ Festival.
We are pleased to be working with Churches Together in Britain and Ireland in the publication of this ‘Re-imagining Harvest’ initiative. Their Creation Time resources this year include details of an eight day festival embracing two Sundays, which have been designed by EarthAbbey.
They include ideas for a Homemade Festival on the Saturday, where a local community can come together and celebrate all things homemade and homegrown and a culmination service on the second Sunday which includes a ‘Presentation of Creation’ as the centrepiece of a whole new type of service. Details about the festival can be found at Re-imagining Harvest
Here we publish our Contemplative Resources to enable a simple meditation on a Lectio Divina pattern for each day of the week between the two Sundays. Each day has a practical exercise and a short contemplative exercise
