Earth Abbey formed in my head in Nov 2007. I am now spending much of my energy trying to make it happen. I am convinced that many people today are looking for a new way to express their spirituality. I hope Earth Abbey can become a home for them and a means of encouraging us all to live more in tune with the earth. I see this as the primary task for the rest of my days.

Previously I have been a research biochemist and an Anglican vicar, serving here in Bristol as a clergy person for about fifteen years and then about ten years ago stepping out to found Agora which is a charity concerned with active citizenship. Agora also aims to help people in churches engage faith with the issues of the day. Agora is the source of Earth Abbey.
